We bought my daughter this backpack for her club soccer season and after a single days use, the stitching at one of the seams had opened up into a hole. The bag cost $64 which is $15 more than the advertised price for the club customization of the bag. Obtaining a hole in the bag after only one day of light use was absolutely ridiculous and prompted me to take a closer inspection of the quality that went into making the bag. Well, the quality was very poor. The stitching throughout the entire bag is awful. There is a single thin thread stitch about every 1/4" - 1/2" inch around the bags seam. This bag won't last one month, let alone one season, when I would have expected it to last a couple seasons for $64. It would have taken so little effort and money to have constructed this bag properly, but PUMA must not be interested in producing a quality product. I am terribly disappointed and now I question the quality of all the products made by PUMA as a result of this manufacturing failure. Well, PUMA, I hope that extra buck in profit is worth losing the integrity and reputation as a manufacturer of quality products in my eyes. I will think twice before ever purchasing a PUMA product again. Lastly, I compared this PUMA backpack to a NIKE backpack purchased for my other daughter and the difference in quality was noticeable despite the two bags being roughly the same cost.
