Rancho Santa Fe Attack
About RSF Attack
In the 1970’s a group of men brought together 27 boys to teach them the game of soccer in a community that was not familiar with the sport. Interest rapidly grew and within years RSF had over 300 players coming to learn about and play the game. The club brought in Malcolm Tovey, the Director of Coaching, to organize the program as it grew. Rancho Santa Fe currently has more than 1,000 kids ages four to 18 playing throughout the year.
RSF Attack has both a competitive and recreational program for boys and girls. Many of their teams boast success. Most recently, the Boys 97 team won top flight in the Vegas Players Showcase; Boys 04 Green are the Champions of the San Diego Presidents Cup; Boys 03 Green and 02 White are Presidio Champions; Girls U-12 Green are Vegas Cup winners; and the Boys U-18 Green are Nomads Champions. RSF also holds its own summer tournament, the Attack Summer Classic, in Rancho Sante Fe and Solano Beach areas.
