Minutes into the second half of Villareal’s match against Osasuna on Saturday, Osasuna had just equalized. With the play still in the middle of the field, the keeper stood clearly out of his box, giving Cani the opportunity to take the surprising shot from the halfway point. Osasuna’s backtracking goalkeeper Ricardo had no chance as he saw the ball blast clear above his head.

In the 49th minute of AC Milan’s match against Lecce on Sunday, a long pass led Zlatan Ibrahimovic to chase the ball down the line, easily maneuvering past a couple of defenders. He blasted the ball from a distance,as if he were clearing the ball, yet the shot glided perfectly over Lecce goalkeeper Antonio Rosati’s head and landed in the back of the net.

In the 19th minute of Sunday’s match versus Portuguesa, the former Real Madrid left back went on a trademark run down the left hand side. Receiving a corner kick, the 37 year old decided to revive his dead ball technique and quickly squeezed the shot to the far post, leaving the keeper unprepared and the fans stunned.
