Kakà is back!

We were all glad to see Kakà back in action yesterday and it seems that he had been expecting his return to the Bernabeu sooner rather than later. Excited to get back on the field, he shared this picture on New Years Eve, showing his love for Jesus on one cleat and his son, Luca, on the other.  Monday’s 3-2 win over Getafe saw Kakà come in as a sub in the 76th minute, all smiles.

Mourinho also seemed happy to see his starlet back on the field, “His return is great news for Real Madrid, for the Spanish league and for world football. He is a super player who hasn’t really played in Spain because he spent a whole year practically injured and six months completely injured. He is ready to play 15 minutes now, he will be able to play 20 against Levante, 25 against Villarreal, and he will gradually recover this way. It’s great news.”

After thinking he might never be able to play again, his 16 minutes against Getafe have given the Brazilian a reason to smile again. Nice to have you back, Kakà!
