Denmark, Spain & France New Kits Shown to the World
On Friday three more World Cup kits were unveiled including Denmark, France and world soccer powerhouse Spain.
The Danish Football Association officially released their new look which will be the featured uniform of Denmark until 2012. The new red and white kit will make it’s official debut when the “Danish Dynamite” face off in a friendly with FIFA World Cup 2010 qualifiers South Korea in Esbjerg.
The new Denmark kit features a red jersey adorned with 11 dotted lines across the chest symbolizing the unity of the 11 players on the pitch. The jersey has white detail and is matched with white shorts and red socks to complete the kit.
The next jersey released was that of the soccer crazed nation of Spain. Spain is riding high off their win at the 2008 European Championships and a flawless record in qualifying for World Cup 2010. Featuring world megastars such as Fernando Torres, David Villa, David Silva and many other, Spain is sure to be a favorite to win it all in South Africa.
The Spanish Football Association launched their new look at a Madrid cinema multiplex under the theme of “The Power of Red”. Several Spanish internationals including goalkeeper Iker Casillas, Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernandez and others acted as models for the excited fans.
Spain’s new kit will feature a deep red jersey will yellow and blue detail, coupled with bright blue shorts and red socks. Players will get their first action in the new adidas outfit on Saturday when Spain face South American rivals Argentina at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid.
France national team coach Dominic officially unveiled the new France national team kit while naming his players who will try to secure France’s place at World Cup 2010 in South Africa. The French have not looked convincing in qualifying and will need to be on top of their game to ensure qualification. Les Bleus will debut their new uniforms in their first playoff game against Ireland on Saturday.
The France kit is very traditional with a blue jersey, white shorts and red socks. The blue jersey is detailed with red and white slash marks. Below is French star Karim Benzema showing of the new France kit.
