News of Ramsey’s comeback trail has been welcomed by Arsenal and Premiere league fans alike. The Welshman’s career was in the balance after an X-rated tackle by Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross broke both his fibula and tibia of his right leg back in February. After the nightmare injury that kept him out of the beautiful game for nearly nine months, the 19 year old midfield starlet has been in light training under Wenger watchful eye.
Last week, Wenger revealed Ramsey was on target to resume full training, but said at the time the Welsh teenager would not be rushed back, indicating it could be December before he is ready for the rigors of the Barclay’s Premier League.
Obviously, it’s important that Ramsey isn’t rushed back into action as any set-backs would have a devastating effect on his career. But this won’t stop the Arsenal faithful from salivating over the prospect of their talented young Welshman adding weight to their midfield.
