As the winter break approaches, transfer speculators grow anxious figuring out the future of today’s starlets. With recent news of Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton being sacked, the unexpected resign of Ajax Amsterdam boss Martin Jol and an unhappy Bendtner at Arsenal, a couple of new rumors have been brought up.
It was announced that Ajax boss Jol resigned from his ailing team due to the expectations being set too high after last season, scoring 106 goals and with a staggering goal difference of plus 86. Speculators have come up with another explanation, linking Jol to the vacant manager spot left by former boss Chris Hughton at Newcastle. With Jol out of the Ajax picture, a number of their top names are now going to force exits from the Dutch club, with Luis Suarez at the front of the line. Although currently serving a seven-game suspension for biting an opponent, he has been continually linked with a move away from the Dutch club, with no shortage of suitors.
If Suarez were to leave the Dutch club, Ajax would begin their move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. Rumor has it that the relationship between Arsene Wenger and Nicklas Bendtner has hit new lows recently, leaving the Danish international keen on leaving the club in pursuit of regular first team spot, something he can no doubt guarantee at Ajax, especially if Suarez does leave.
