World Cup 2014 is still a year and a half away, but already we are beginning to feel the excitement with the launch of the Nike Brazil Home Jersey 2013/14. Unveiled by Neymar at Rio’s famous Copacabana beach, the newest Brazil home kit features the country’s classic colors of yellow, green and blue in a classic look with performance enhancing design innovations.
Never straying far from their roots, this Brazil jersey draws inspiration from many of their past jerseys. The yellow shirt features a green flip collar with matching green color bands at the bottom of each sleeve. Providing optimum performance and comfort is Nike Dri-FIT technology which wicks moisture to the surface of the jersey where it is evaporated. The fabric used in the newest Nike jerseys is 23% lighter and 20% strong than those of the past. To reduce the environmental impact caused during production, each Brazil home jersey is made from a minimum of 96 percent recycled polyester.
To round out the look of the home kit, the Brazil Home Jersey 13/14 will be worn with classic blue shorts and white socks. The Brazil home shorts include bonded white stripes on each side, while the socks include “Brazil” detail on the back of each leg.
The new Brazil Home Jersey 2013/14 will be worn for the first time against England on February 6th and will be available for pre-order at soccerloco.com February 18th.
