After falling to Turin side Juventus this season, AC Milan showed an impressive battle (24 wins was more than any other Serie A team) and clinched UEFA Champions League for next year. With a star-studded lineup, it will be interesting to see if the Milanese team can poach any other big names from the Premier or Spanish Leagues. Nevertheless, here is a sneak peak of what Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexandre Pato will be sporting at San Siro next year. It’s now for sale over at soccerloco.com.
Featuring all the elements that are the pinnacle of premium adidas replica soccer jerseys, this jersey feels great and looks even better. An innovative blend of compression TECHFIT and FORMOTION keeps you protected from the elements and wicks your sweat away from the skin in this hybrid compression polyester.
This Jersey features a return to the wider stripes from years past, now with a fold-over white collar. The design brings a bit of classic Italian inspiration to a club with as much history as any in the league, since it’s establishment 113 years ago. The bold stripes of black and red invoke fear in their opponents, with a subtle nod to the Italian Flag, woven between the wide stripes. The embroidered AC Milan team crest is adorned on the chest, opposite the embroidered 3-stripe adidas logo, with the same sponsor.
We’re sure the new style suits the Rossoneri. We can’t wait to see them duke it out in next season’s Champions League and Serie A as they vie for the League title that was just out of their grasp this season. You may catch a glimpse of these slick threads on the pitch during AC Milan’s summer tour which kicks off July 24th with a friendly against Schalke 04.
Then they head to the US to play games in Miami and Philadelphia through the end of the month. They are reported to be playing Chelsea in one of their friendlies, but could be missing a good portion of their roster due to Olympic competitions in London.
Enjoy this series of videos about the history behind the AC Milan Home Jersey for 2012/2013. It’s a saga, a dramatic tale of a storied club. Is it overdone? Probably, but we can’t help but get swept up in the culture and passion of one of Italy’s most respectable clubs.
