Nike Holiday Footwear Now Available

As the summer has begun to cool down, we’re excited for Fall and the holiday season, as they also bring our favorite 12/13 kits in Long Sleeve and UEFA Champion’s League, but most of all, the Nike 2012 Holiday Footwear Collection, most of which goes on pre-order today at soccerloco. The release includes updates to our favorite silos, like the Nike Tiempo Legend IV & take down models in a soar blue with white, as well as the Nike T90 Laser IV and its take downs in a bright crimson with electric green and obsidian.

Both of these boots have unique styles that represent their place in soccer history. The Soar Blue Tiempos are a simple, classic style featuring an all blue base with the sharpness of a white Swoosh & laces.  This boot is a time-tested favorite on players like Ronaldinho and Chicharito. The new style reflects on past styles but improves upon the construction, durability and comfort of past models.

Even the most recently updated boot, the Nike CTR360 Maestri III FG gets fresh redesign to a metallic silver and pine green edition. With the same leading-technology features that the world’s most renowned controlling midfielders rely on, this boot will be a hit for the last part of 2012. We’re excited to see it on the feet of players like Andres Iniesta and Landon Donovan. If you want these sweet new Maestri IIIs, you’ll have to wait an extra two weeks as their official release is not until October 13th.

Of course, the hottest shoe that has swept the globe, the Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII and its take down models will be updated in a brand new colorway of retro teal and total orange. At first glance, it looks like a promotional item for Nikelodeon, but after closer inspection, it’s easy to see the same world-class soccer boot you’ve come to know from Nike.

All together, these will make some sweet gifts for the die-hard soccer players out there. The good news is that even if you’re new to soccer, these shoes can offer new found confidence and get you on your way to greatness.
