This year we wanted to cover the event differently than ever before. Being the title sponsor of arguably one of the largest tournaments on the West coast, we made a valiant effort to keep the soccerloco social feeds with alive with real time updates on the event. Players, coaches, and college scouts flocked to the soccerloco media coverage tent for a chance to share their thoughts, excitement and words of wisdom during the tournament. We know about all of the hard work that goes into a making a successful season and building a cohesive team. That’s why we sat down with college scouts, caring club coaches, and enthusiastic athletes to talk soccer, strategy, and tournament details.

Our #soccerlocoSurfCup Photo of the Day campaigns were a hit as well, as many spirited athletes uploaded pictures on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook with action shots from their matches, group shots with their team and even some landscape shots showing the aftermath of the bizarre thunderstorm to hit on Sunday morning. Two prizes were given away this past weekend, one of which was a Nike Ordem 2 soccer ball.
