adiPower Predator Launch

As one of the most iconic cleat designs in the game of soccer, each new Predator release has a lot to live up to. Now in it's 11th generation, the adidas adiPower Predator is the most technologically advanced pair of soccer shoes on the market. adidas in it's continual fight to stay on top of the soccer footwear market has launched a shoe that is sure to be worn for years to come.

Marking a new era for the adidas Predator line, the first colorway of the adiPower Predator is Bright Blue & Electricy Yellow. A far cry from the classic Black, Red & White colorway the Predator is known for, the update in color scheme follows the recent demand for more colorful cleats and the success of bright adidas F50 adiZero colorways.

adiPower Predator Technology

With an all time high emphasis on speed in soccer, adidas has redesigned the the Predator to address those needs. By incorporating adidas Sprint Frame technology in the new adiPower Predator, adidas was able to reduce the weight of the shoes by 25% while making it the lightest and most powerful Predator ever. Sprint Frame technology is a lightweight outsole first used in adidas' wildly popular F50 adiZero line which debuted last year.

Originally known for the revolutionary Predator Element on the inside of each Predator cleat, the new adiPower version features the silicon rubber element split into two seperate performance zones. The first zone known as the 'Power Zone' is integrated into the adidas stripes with 3D fins that rebound upon ball impact leading to additional striking power. The second zone or 'Swerve Zone' made up of a hexagonal pattern is an even and soft surface which causes higher friction and more swerve by staying in contact with the ball longer.
