History of AC Milan Jerseys
Since the club's inception, red and black have been at the core of AC Milan. Representing the club throughout it's entire history, the Rossoneri, or the Red & Blacks, AC Milan has also received another nickname: Il Diavolo, meaning the devil in Italian. In 1986, when the team was struggling financially, entrepreneur Silvio Berlusconi acquired the club to save it from bankruptcy. He invested hoards of money into the club and not only saved it, but brought about the most successful years a team has ever had. What's interesting about the club is a little superstition had by the fans and the team itself, winning six out of eight finals in their all-white away kit, they elect to wear it in all their finals appearances over their traditional home kit.
